Ginnie’s Kettlebell Workout

Here at Phoenix Fitness we love kettlebells, and if you don't already, we hope you will by the end of this blog post.

Kettlebell requires functional whole body fitness. It is a great way to get a whole body work out in a short period.

Phoenix Fitness would like to give you an insight into kettlebell training - based on this you will be able to analyse if kettlebells are the best option and equipment for you.

When you are thinking of lifting weights to build strength or thinking to go biking to increase your cardio or even yoga to improve your flexibility then think kettlebell! It’s your total package, you can have all three in one workout.

Start to improve your core stability, endurance and fire up more muscles with Ginnie’s workout below.

  • Goblet squat push and triceps (no idea how to call that move - 3 in 1, that’s a winner)
  • Swings
  • Upright row
  • Russian twist 
  • Push and press 
  • Front lunges with a twist
This workout can be carried out as a circuit, do all 6 exercises back to back - 1 to 2 min rest - repeat x2 or x3 (depending on your fitness level)
