Check out @Tomseedfitness transformation below, it took Tom 4 years to get to this point.

Phoenix Fitness :

How did you start off your fitness journey?

Tom:

I finished school, decided not to go to university. All my friends did and I had a load of free time. One day I decided to buy a gym membership to kill the time and since then I haven't looked back.

Phoenix Fitness :

At what stage in your life where you encouraged to get into fitness?

Tom:

Made the decision myself when I was aged 18-19 years old.

Phoenix Fitness :

Did you invest in fitness equipment?

Tom:

5 years ago I had to join the local gym as I had no home gym equipment and back then it was too expensive to buy.

Phoenix Fitness :

Have you ever tried working out at home and how did this work out for you?

Tom:

Yes, when I started working full time I had a lot less time to go and train. Home

workouts were ideal for getting in a 30 minute workout first thing before I left the

house.

Phoenix Fitness :

Did you consider a personal trainer or workout plan?

Tom:

I had a personal trainer for my first 4 weeks at the gym. I quickly read up online about training techniques and fitness models at the time gave me lots of inspiration.

Phoenix Fitness :

Did you create clear and trackable goals?

Tom:

To begin with it was just to improve my physique. Over time I have been more strict with my goals.

Phoenix Fitness :

Was Transformation ever tracked during your fitness journey, if so why do you think this is important?

Tom:

Yes, I uploaded photos almost daily on instagram so I could look back every month / year to see what progress I made. This helped hugely with motivation.

Phoenix Fitness :

Did you ever leave focus to your fitness journey, if so what motivated you to get back on track?

Tom:

I have taken my foot off the gas during winter months before and enjoyed a non

calorie controlled diet. It's good for me to take time off training on a daily basis

in order to build up my fuel and passion for getting in shape.

Phoenix Fitness :

Which exercises do you find work best for you to achieve your overall goals?

Tom:

30 minutes cardio to begin each session and then a 45 minute weights training

session. I also enjoy including a swim during the week. This is really good for

burning off those calories.

Phoenix Fitness :

Are you happy with that you have achieved or are you wanting to do better? if so what are your next goals?

Tom:

Never satisfied, always aiming for a better physique. I am going to get in the best

shape of my life in June 2019.

Phoenix Fitness :

Do you have any top tips to give to beginners who are starting off their fitness journey based on your experience?

Tom:

Set yourself small goals, focus on your weaknesses and find an enjoyable diet

that gets results. If you don't enjoy the process you won't be able to stay

consistent.
